Nhưng cách diễn ấy lại không lột tả hết nửa còn lại - một Hoàng Quân tình cảm, chân thành. Tuy nhiên, theo dõi từng tập thì thấy cách diễn của Lam Trường có chuyển biến, hợp với nhân vật nhiều hơn. Gương mặt sáng ngời của Tú Vi rất hợp với vai cô tiểu thư Mộc Miên non nớt, trong sáng, được yêu chiều. Nhưng đôi chỗ người xem thấy Tú Vi... hơi điệu. Văn Anh - vai bếp phó ỗ Duy - lấy được thiện cảm của khán giả một phần cũng nhờ nét diễn khá biểu cảm, tự nhiên của chàng diễn viên từng đóng vai chính trong phim Hàn Mặc Tử. Giữ vai thứ chính, nhưng chú Hải của Thành Lộc chính là một điểm nhấn về diễn xuất với khả năng làm chủ nhân vật một cách tinh tế và khôn khéo.
